Best quality single trigger boxlock ejector gun.  The barrels are both bright and clean with the walls measuring .026 in both.  The very well figured round knob stock is fited with a gold escution at the center of the knob. The length of pull is 13 5/8 inches with the single trigger and would measure at 14 5/8 inches to 14 3/4 inches if this were a double trigger gun.  The scroll back action retains nearly all original colour hardening and patina. The barrels retain nearly 100% of what appears to be a re-black job. The engraving to the top rib is all there and good.  The Action is inlaid with a gold word safe, the is gold inlaid number 1 on the action, forend and barrels. The gun comes fitted in the Makers original oak and leather case with accessories. This is a great lightweight well balanced best quality gun,  very sound and solid gun in every respect.
