Each of the eight full colour prints are taken from the original sketches made from nature by C. Blake & painted by J. L. Turner, Vauxhall and other artists. To be engraved, published and highly finished in colors by Mr. C. Turner. 13 ¼ X 17 ¾ contained in a hard backed cloth folio. The eight are titled - 1 Poachers setting the snare - 2 Poachers taking the struggling hare from the noose - 3 Poachers stalking for partridges - 4 Poachers snaring hen pheasants - 5 Poachers meeting the Keepers - 6 Poachers scuffling with the Constables in the Skittle Ground - 7 Poachers before the Magistrates - 8 Poachers in Prison ( The Pardon ). This is a MINT set and beautifully done. Very Rare. If framed individually this would be a spectacular addition to any den, library, game room or country home. $1,800.00
